Avid hunter and fisherman, Michael Buckman has been pursuing his passion to share his extensive knowledge teaching people how to hunt the safest and most humane way possible. Michael takes great pride in sharing his love for the outdoors with his family, most especially his son, Lucas, who is also a young hunter and fisherman at the age of 10. The Buckman family reside on a farm and enjoy taking care of their horses, chickens and other pets. Years ago, Michael realized that he had a natural ability teaching people and sharing his love for nature and decided to start the process of creating a non profit organization called, Hunt*Fish*USA. While the organization has taken some time to scale, Mike continues to network via social media and locally to promote the opportunity with fellow enthusiasts.
Michael and his wife Jackie, are also in the midst’s of opening an on site retreat called Maryland Outdoor Living, where guests can stay in secluded cabins on a property and partake in guided hunts/fishing/crabbing and even horseback riding. The business is expected to fully launch in 2023.
Professionally, he has spent the last 15 years working various leadership and manager roles in the logistics field. He enjoys coaching and developing his team while running the business as efficiently as possible. When Mike is not working, he enjoys spending time with his beloved family. He also coaches his son’s Little League Team, including the 10U All Stars Team.
