Darren Childs
This young gun has been in the woods and water for as long as he can remember. Growing up in an outdoors family, his father and grandfather started him out and showed him away day 1. Darren specializes mainly in waterfowl and fishing, but knows a little about a lot when it comes to the great outdoors. He likes to fish the rivers of northern Michigan for brown trout, steelhead, and salmon. Although he loves the cold water species, Darren also gets fired up for Spring/Fall time smallmouth and pike fishing as well as pulling fish through the ice all winter long.
He gained great knowledge on top of experience during his time working at the Orvis Lodge on the great Pere Marquette River in Baldwin, MI and venturing to the many lakes and rivers around Michigan more days than not. At the beginning of 2023 he started Childs Play Guide Service which is a licensed commercial hunting guide service and in-land lake/river fishing guide business.
