Brent Fortier
Brent is a wizard when it comes to river systems, fly fishing, fly tying, and strategical fishing in general.
The 30+ years of knowledge he has gathered is best-in-class which is why he gets asked to teach casting and tying clinics by Orvis shops when he has the time.
If Brent isn’t teaching a classroom of kids he is spending time with his family and connecting with nature. They often travel to local public land and also enjoy family property in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Brent is fantastic at breaking down complex fishing/hunting tactics so the average aspiring outdoorsman can understand and apply and he is generous and patient when helping those improve their skills.
Although he is an incredible angler he also enjoys spending time in the forest stalking whitetail, chasing wild turkey, hunting black bear, and foraging mushrooms.
Brent and his family live in Shelby Township, MI. We are very excited to have Brent part of the team and looking forward to working with him on producing fly tying and casting clinics coming soon!
