It was a full day of meaningful conversations, connecting with fellow conservationists, and voting on key issues that impact Michigan’s outdoors.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up, speaks up, and works together to protect our wildlife, public lands, and sporting heritage.

3rd Annual @sciflint squirrel hunting tournament raising money for their youth programs!

Henry’s first squirrel hunt while also looking for rabbit opportunities! He did awesome!

Kicked the morning off at 8am for the zoom check in, a trip to @bassproshops for some last minute warm gear, getting the truck stuck, getting questioned by a police officer asking if I had anything to do with a gutted deer down the road from where I got stuck, teaching Henry about habitat, tracks/sign (along with an added snow angel), and why hunting is a management tool, Culver’s break for lunch, and HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY Henry spotting the squirrel and us getting the harvest to participate on the leaderboard, then ending with a gathering at @rollsmechanical to hang with all of the other hunting teams - solid memories neither of us will ever forget!

Thank you @sciflint for putting this on and all you do! An annual event we’ll never miss!

Thanks to everyone who made it out for our 5th Annual Duck Camp on Harsens Island! While some boats did better than others… 😅 one thing’s for sure, it was an incredible time with even better people.

From familiar faces to new friends, this trip reminded us what Network Outdoors is all about. Connecting, learning, and making memories that last long after the decoys are packed up.

Between late-night duck calling sessions, early mornings on the water, and plenty of laughs in between, this is what it’s all about.

A productive morning over the beaver pond at the Allen Farm! Both pups first duck hunt and they did great! Wood ducks, gadwalls and Canada geese 🙌

Not pictured was Gareth’s 7 year old nephew Terry who was out there helping bring ‘em in for his 1st duck hunt as well! Amazing!

This year’s Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition Sporting Clays Fundraiser was an excellent time! Thank you veterans and active duty for all you’ve done and continue to do for our country 🇺🇸

This organization has contributed over $250,000 in 2025 so far to impact the lives of veterans around mid-Michigan. The only overhead this group has is a storage unit and insurance - 100% volunteer led and we were honored to be able to donate the ammo for this event.

If you are a veteran in need please reach out direct and we’ll put you in contact or visit the GLBVC website. They are also always looking for volunteers and donations for anyone moved to get involved.
